Five years ago, my reality shattered.
I’d just moved in with my boyfriend, I was climbing the corporate ladder, and I was spending my evenings having dinners with friends or going out. To my family, it looked like I was living the dream. To me, it felt empty.
There was a sense of unfulfillment that I couldn’t quite put my finger on. But I thought that if I got a mortgage, or a promotion at work, I would feel satisfied. And these things weren’t too far off.
Then one day, my boyfriend told me our relationship wasn’t working. And in an instant, the reality I thought I was living in came crashing down.
It was a slow and painful process to piece my life back together. But it was a blessing in disguise. It allowed me to question every piece, to ask if it was truly part of me or just something I had picked up from somewhere else.
The path of self-discovery included 18 months of therapy, daily meditation, a never-ending spiral of books on personal development and spirituality, and heartfelt conversations with friends and family.
But my life only really changed when I took these insights and turned them into action.
From an outsider’s perspective, I did the most irrational thing. Just months after the pandemic hit and the economy was in turmoil, I quit my secure corporate job to start my own business. It was a leap of faith into the unknown. And it set me on a course of self-transformation I never could have imagined.
To put a long story short, I built a fast-growing vegan sports nutrition start-up, discovered it was not in alignment with my authentic self, travelled to Nepal where I entered a silent meditation retreat, discovered an inner world I’d been ignorant of, moved to Melbourne where I built a digital hypnotherapy program to help people stop smoking, and explored new spiritual practices to discover stillness and presence.
After many years of learning, I am now sharing what I have discovered on my journey so that I can provide the support I wish I’d had. There’s no need to wait for an unexpected event to set you on the course of action. You can take life into your own hands.
We’re living in unsettling times and the world is crying out for help. I deeply believe that to change the world, we must change ourselves first. If we can repair our own minds, see and experience life differently, and then contribute to our communities in a newly energized way, this will create a ripple effect that will topple structures that once seemed permanent.
In this way, my coaching is about reclaiming power. It’s about helping you to discover who you truly are so that you can unleash your potential. It is underpinned by love, passion for encouraging self-actualisation in others, and with faith that the ripple effect is real.
I look forward to joining you on your journey.
With love,
Elliot
